The Vice Chancellor of Morris Cerullo Christian University of Nigeria, MCCU Prof. Peter Akujuobi has passionately called on the Government to map out special education intervention fund for the promotion of Christian Universities in Nigeria.

Speaking during the institution’s 23rd Matriculation and 24th convocation ceremony in Umuahia, Abia State,  Prof. Akujuobi said that Christian Universities through their scheme of work and curriculum have been discovering people with different talents and skills, and aiding them to become what they were supposed to be in the society at large.

He appealed that the government should take a cursory look at the programmes and courses of the Christian Universities, which he said is mostly centered on curbing moral decadence and assist them with them with the basic infrastructures.

“The government should help us enlarge our horizons, build school edifice and map out fund for the Christian Universities. I want to assure them that they will get a good oriented result in the end”, the MCCU VC assured.

He further maintained that the Christian Universities will continue to pray for the government to succeed.

He also charged the matriculants to abide by the rules and regulations of the school and also prayed God to help the graduands fulfill their purpose in life.
