Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, (UCCIMA) send its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and valuables to explosion in Rivers state.
In a condolence message made available to our correspondent by UCCIMA President, Chief Chidi Nkem Aruoma, decried that the devastating incident has brought pain and anguish to many families.
It was gathered that unidentified number of persons were burnt to death in a tanker explosion in Rivers State.
According to the report, the victims were feared killed following the explosion of a tanker loaded with fuel at the Eleme section of the East-West Road in the state.
Aruoma, who sympathized with the families and victims of the explosion, passionately called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the recent incident.
Aruoma further said that government should look into how to cushion the damages and great lost suffered by business owners.
