The Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN Abia State chapter, Archbishop Chikezie Elekwa, has said that although God is in need of Vessels but it is not just every vessel that He uses.

Archbishop Elekwa, who was a guest speaker during the 23rd Matriculation and 24th convocation ceremony of Morris Cerullo Christian University, MCCU in Umuahia, who espoused and expounded the topic, “The Vessel that God uses”, explained that the vessel God uses must be clean, humble and prayerful.

According to him, the moment God finds these qualities in any vessel, He will surely use that vessel and turn same into a vessel unto honour.

“The word of God cannot be broken, that is the truth. Today, there’s a lot of packaging. God looks beyond all that. He looks beyond the certificate. He looks beyond the packaging. He looks beyond the suit, shoes and wrist watch. He searches for something, He looks directly into the heart and He wants to see purity, humility and prayerfulness. The way God sees is not the way man sees. The scripture remains the scripture”.

He pointed out that, although some Ministers of the gospel do not preach what they are supposed to preach, but that does not change the scripture.

The PFN Abia State chapter boss encouraged the House of Clergyman to be conscious of heaven as a day of reckoning is coming.

“Whatever we do on earth, we are still going to render account to the Lord. We should not strive on earth and miss our place in the kingdom. Our salvation should be paramount in whatever we do”, Archbishop Elekwa reminded the matriculants, graduands and the entire people gathered.
