A philanthropist and founder of Abia Good Governance Forum, AGGF, Dr. Charles Ukeagu, enjoined Abians and Nigerians not to be dismayed by the current economic hardship ravaging every part of the nation.
In his Easter message made available to our correspondent, Dr. Ukeagu, also called on the citizens to use the Easter season to fervently pray for the peace, unity, progress, and development of Nigeria, not forgetting its leadership. He enjoined Nigerians to put aside ethnic, religious, tribal differences and strive, “to be our brother’s keeper and extend a hand of fellowship to those that offended us”.
Ukeagu who appreciated the strides recorded by the Abia State Governor Alex Otti, encouraged Abians irrespective of political parties to support the governor and also to emulate Christ’s virtues of compassion, forgiveness, and unwavering faith during this season of renewal and rebirth.
According to him, the death of Jesus Christ and His resurrection embodied self-sacrifice, forgiveness, infinite love, and victory over every challenge.
