There are so much suffering in the world today because the devil has removed from most of the inhabitants the image of God, a gospel preacher, Evangelist Bradley Fisher has observed.
Preaching a topic captioned, “The Image of God”, with text drawn from the Bible book of Luke chapter 20 verses 19 to 26, at the ongoing Great Gospel Crusade, a programme organized by Christ For All Nations in conjunction with All Christian Churches in Umuahia, Abia State, Evang. Fisher, charged the congregation to flee away from sin, as it is the only vent, the devil can penetrate to destroy mankind.
The preacher who cited the scene of craftiness where the Priests and Scribes sent spies who pretended to be righteous to inquire if it was lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not and the brilliance displayed by Jesus Christ, pointed out that, “Since we are bearing the image of God, we must give to God what belongs to Him”.
Evang. Fisher, who also took the congregation to the beginning of the creation as contained in the Bible book of Genesis, reminded them that God made Adam and Eve in His image and they worked in perfect relationship with Him, before creating room for the devil, to strike with his sledge hammer.
“Our Lord Jesus Christ passed through pains to restore God’s image on mankind. No prophet, no philosopher can save you except the blood of Jesus. Sin is not a problem to God because Jesus died for our sin and for our sin to be taken away, we must come to Jesus. Life is not promised without Jesus. You belong to Jesus, give to God what belongs to Him. The gospel is not reformation, it’s not renovation but it’s transformation. The journey to eternity runs parallel with us, so take the right decision and follow Jesus Christ”, Evang. Fisher further admonished.
