Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer Omega Power ministry is also now known as His Royal Majesty, Eze Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor, the traditional ruler of Ikwu Orie Ohanku Ndoki Autonomous Community, Ukwa East LGA of Abia State.
Presenting a staff of office and letter of recognition to Apostle Chinyere, Abia State Governor Alex Otti who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzo Nwachukwu, said the event followed the overwhelming acceptance and presentation of Apostle Chinyere as the Eze elect by the entire Community.
The Governor while congratulating him on the new position as the traditional ruler, challenged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by his people, and also urged the people of Ikwu Orie Ohanku Ndoki to give him the necessary support to succeed.
In his speech, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Florence Nwogu and Director of Chieftaincy, Mr. Chuka Agomoh, said that Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere met all the requirements and was unanimously endorsed by his people for the job.
Speaking on behalf of the community, Mr. Kenneth Nwachi, said the entire people of Ikwu Orie Ohanku Ndoki were excited by the presentation of the staff of office to their traditional Ruler and a worthy son of the community who has distinguished himself through philanthropic gestures.
Responding, Eze Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, said he accepted the task of being the Traditional Ruler of his community after many years of calls, to engender peace and prosperity in the community.
He recalled that his philanthropist gesture which has gone beyond the shores of the country started from his community and promised to do more for the overall development of his community.
The new King also applauded the State Governor, Dr Alex Otti for his giant strides in the area of infrastructure expressing optimism that the governor will industrialized the state before the end of his administration.
The event attracted the presence of dignitaries within and across the country.
