The successor of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, the late popular gospel of Christ preacher, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, has tasked the Christian faithful not to create a vent for the law of sin to pull them down, but to allow the law of salvation reign in their lives.

Kolenda, who referenced the Bible book of Romans chapter 8 verse 1 and 2, gave the charge, while preaching at the Great Gospel Crusade, a programme organized by Christ For All Nations in conjunction with All Christian Churches in Umuahia, Abia State,

He encouraged Christians to represent the true image of God and listen to His voice from heaven for He is ready to lift those who genuinely seek him to a higher level.

The gospel preacher who reminded congregation of the teachings of Apostle Paul about the law of sin, the law of death, and the law of salvation, warned that the law of sin has pulled personalities and nations down.

Evang. Kolenda, while also reminding the congregation that it takes the power of Christ Jesus and His divine mercy to defeat the law of sin, he warned that hell is a place of punishment, darkness and evil, and that the law of sin and darkness are like twins.

The gospel preacher who dropped a cheering news to the congregation that he came with the powerful message, which is the law of salvation, described the law of salvation as more powerful, liberating a sinner from the power of sicknesses and atrocities.

He informed that the law of salvation has remained powerful because of Jesus Christ, a perfect man who never sinned because of His perfect nature.

Leading a Prayer for peace and prosperity for Umuahia and Abia State at large, during the interdenominational crusade which attracted people from all walks of life, one of the officiating ministers, Pastor Ugochukwu Ibe, pointed out that prosperity does not thrive where there is no peace.

The clergyman who observed that insecurity has forced investors to run to where there is security, further charged the congregation to crave for peace and divine protection which only comes from God in Umuahia and Abia State, and also prayed against the menace of armed robbery, kidnapping, banditry and assassinations.

Also Bishop Dr Newlife Ugochukwu, who led a Prayer for Nigeria, charged congregation to remain committed to God’s blessings and make fervent prayers for God to send His blessings and end poverty in the land.

Reverend Blessed Amalambu, the Secretary of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Abia State chapter, while also leading a prayer, urged the congregation to lay aside every burden and pray, as God is ever ready to answer.

He assured that prayer dislodge devil and his agents from their secret places.

Many were led to Christ during the crusade.
