 Mr Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, Abia State Commissioner for Police has urged the State chapter of National Association of Nigeria Students to refrain from taking laws into their hands but to creatively brainstorm and peacefully attend to any internal challenges without necessarily resorting to violence.

The Commissioner of Police and his management team had while welcoming the students who came on a courtesy visit, also intimated them on the need to promptly report the misconduct of any officers to the Complaint Response Unit.

Onwuemelie, who also emphasized the command’s commitment to accountability and transparency, reminded them to uphold the law by remaining law-abiding citizens at all times.

Earlier, the Executive of the National Association of Nigeria Students Abia State chapter led by their President, Comrade Prince Jacob Nwaoma, extended gratitude to the Police Command for their tireless efforts and proactive stance in addressing past challenges.

Additionally, they shared their concerns and present challenges with the Commissioner of Police.
